One Choice for venues

They ask for one place. It can be yours.

One Choice gives people nearby one place, with the reason why. When yours fits what they asked for, it can be that place. Nobody can pay their way past a no.

Next: sign in, find your place by name, and we check it's yours.

Example: someone nearby asks One Choice for one place. The answer is a ticket for a made-up place.

Example. The place is made up. If a paid lift were running, the photo would say Sponsored.

Every kind of place

Not a restaurant? It works the same.

Climbing halls, museums, cinemas, bars and clubs claim their place the way a restaurant does, and the same rules decide when it's the one.

  • Eat & drink

    Restaurants, cafés, bakeries, bars

  • Activities

    Climbing halls, museums, bowling, cinemas

  • Family & kids

    Places that suit kids

  • Nightlife

    Clubs, cocktail bars, late‑night bars

  • Events

    After launch

    Concerts, markets, festivals

Events open to guests after launch. Concert venues can already claim their place.

Claimed or not

Your place may already be on One Choice.

One Choice picks from the places around the person asking, not from a list of members. Your details start from public sources. Claim your place and they're yours to keep right.

Where the words come from

Every word comes from somewhere.

What they asked decides which of your facts leads. The facts are yours, from your profile. One Choice writes the sentence.

  2. 2Who's coming two of them, so your “romantic” leads

Removed, not ranked

Some nights, it isn't you.

If you're closed by then, above their budget or missing something they ruled out, you're removed from that request. Not ranked lower: removed. So when you are picked, it's because you fit.

Of the places left, the best fit wins.

Then their taste, who's coming, how close you are, how well you're rated and how long you're still open decide. Keeping your side true is yours to do.

It won't send the same person to you every Friday, either: a place picked for someone is set aside for them for a while, and if they pass on you, for longer.

Your page

Your menu, in their language.

Tap the ticket and your page opens: your photos in the order you chose, your hours, your menu or price list. Write it once, then translate it into German, French, Italian or English yourself. Each guest reads it in theirs; anything you haven't translated shows as written.

Nothing is machine-translated.

Say what's new.

A new dish, Friday's DJ, a kids' afternoon, the terrace opening. People nearby see it in their feed, tuned to their taste, and so does everyone who follows you, wherever they are. Write it now, schedule it for Saturday at 10:00, and it goes out on its own, once.

Insights

See how often it's you.

Your dashboard opens on one number: how often One Choice picked your place for someone. Beside it, how many said yes, and how many asked for directions or called. Counted per day, never per person: you see how often, not who.

What guests say

When a guest posts about your place and says how it was (loved it, it was fine, or not for me), that's a review. You read every one, photos included, and can answer each one once, in your venue's name. You can't edit or remove them: other guests read the same ones.

Campaigns

Promote. It says so.

When you want more people to see you, run a campaign: pick the dates, see the fixed price before you pay, and while it runs, the ticket says Sponsored.

It can tip a close call between places that fit about equally. It never beats a clearly better match and never brings back a place they ruled out. If you're picked while it runs, the ticket says Sponsored.

  • A fixed price per week or per month, shown before you pay. No bidding.
  • We check every ad, usually within two days. Once it is approved you pay, and it starts on the start date. You are not charged before approval.
  • Picks made while a campaign runs are counted apart from the rest.
  • Every paid campaign gets an invoice with VAT, ready for your accounts.
  • Campaigns are bought one at a time, for the dates you choose. They are not part of a plan.

Before you ask

Straight answers.

Can I buy the pick?
No. A campaign can only tip a close call, and then the ticket says Sponsored.
Can a campaign get past a no?
Never. Removed is removed.
Can I remove a review?
No. You can answer it once, in your venue's name; other guests read the same review.
Can I see who picked me?
No. Counts per day, never names.
Is there bidding?
No. A fixed price per week or per month.
Do I pay before an ad is approved?
No. We check it first, usually within two days.
Who writes the reason on the ticket?
One Choice, from your details and their request.
